Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Lite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rawr Rar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rawr Rar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rar drives through and clinches with Lite against the cage.
Lite fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Lite stops a takedown attempt from Rar.

Rar has clasped his hands together around Lite's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lite is looking to regain half guard here but Rar keeps moving and retains side control.
Rar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lite. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rar works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Rar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lite keeps Rar under control for a moment.

Rar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Rar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lite is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Lite prevents Rar from improving position.

Lite is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rar working away.
Rar cracks Lite with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Rar decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lite to his feet.

Rar has Lite up against the cage in a clinch.

Lite manages to break the clinch.
Lite keeps the fight on the outside.

Rar looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lite is trying to maintain the position but Rar is very close to passing his half guard.
Rar tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Lite moves into full guard.
Rar wants to control from the top but Lite keeps moving.

Lite wants to get back to his feet but Rar is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lite controls Rar momentarily but Rar frees himself.
Rar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lite trying to keep a closed guard but Rar is proving a slippery customer.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lite shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Rar working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Rar prevents Lite from standing back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rar in particular looking to stall.

Rar is trying to work for a kimura but Lite is defending well.
Lite looks like he's trying to stand up.

Rawr Rar dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Rar connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lite misses with a combination

and Rar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
It looks like Rar is going to stand back up.
Rar wants to advance to full mount but Lite doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Lite is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Lite has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rar off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Rar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lite wants to control but Rar is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rar wants to stand up but Lite has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Lite is looking for a sweep. Rar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Rar is stalling here. Lite is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rar seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lite has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Lite is looking to take a break and control but Rar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lite in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Lite wants to control but Rar is keeping him busy.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rar regains half guard.
Lite is trying to control the action in half guard but Rar is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Rar tries to get to full guard but Lite has control of the leg.
Rar is refusing to be controlled, as Lite sits in half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lite lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Rar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rar swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Rar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rawr Rar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Lite changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rar tries to buck Lite off but Lite is having none of it.
Rar controls the position for a moment.
Lite tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Rar tries to improve position but can't.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Rar is pushing Lite's head away, looking to escape. Lite manages to hold on to the position though.
Rar tries to buck Lite off but Lite is having none of it.

Lite decides to take the fight back to the feet.
No luck for Rar with that takedown attempt.

and Rar counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lite's guard now.
Rar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Lite looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rar is one step ahead there.
Lite tries to strike from the bottom.

Lite isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rar stacks Lite on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rar!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rar is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Rawr Rar has got the better of the ground game so far.

Rar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Rar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lite is keeping the position for now.
Rar slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Lite is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lite pushes Rar off looking to stand but Rar dives back in and keeps control.
