Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kartov throws out a loose jab but Bush uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bush throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kartov's waist but Kartov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bush off to one side.
Kartov digs a good hook to Bush's body.

Bush scores a takedown into full mount!
Bush misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Kartov is trying to escape the mount.
Kartov wants to hold on but Bush pushes him away.
Kartov wants to get back to his feet.
Kartov working to try and regain half guard.
Kartov is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Bush pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Bush trying to control but Kartov is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kartov keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Bush lands a nice shot to the head.
Bush postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kartov looks a forlorn figure.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bush avoids the attempt from Kartov to control.
Bush looking to control but Kartov is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Bush scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kartov?
Bush throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kartov because Bush loaded up on that one.
Bush throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Bush connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Kartov is trying to stand.
Bush lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kartov hang on?
Bush throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Bush is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kartov to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kartov shrugs it off.

Kartov bucks up and throws Bush to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Bush shoots in and drives through. Kartov sprawls well.
Bush fails with the takedown.
Sorgi Kartov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Bush.

Kartov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bush throws out the jab.

Kartov drops Bush with a beautiful combination! Bush stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kartov is looking for the KO!

It looks like Jeremy Bush has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bush shoots for a double leg takedown but Kartov sprawls well. He's pushed Bush's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bush shoots in for a takedown but Kartov shows good takedown defense.

Kartov cracks Bush with an open hand slap.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kartov fakes the body blow, causing Bush to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Bush goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
