The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Dunphy misses its intended target.
Howard throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Howard moves into range and clinches up with Dunphy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dunphy is taking a breather. Howard says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Dunphy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Howard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dunphy throws a strike but Howard rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Dunphy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Howard controls the pace.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Marcel Howard.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Howard, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
