The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall looks to land a combination but Gonzales avoids it well.
Hall throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gonzales moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gonzales throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hall fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gonzales.
Hall swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gonzales dodges the punch combination from Hall.
Hall throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hall takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gonzales fails to land the takedown.
Hall pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Albert Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Gonzales avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gonzales tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gonzales somewhat.

Gonzales is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hall can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hall connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Hall goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hall paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Hall lands a big head kick that sends Gonzales tumbling to the mat! Hall takes a step backwards and waves Gonzales back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gonzales has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gonzales shoots in and drives through. Hall sprawls well.
Albert Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Gonzales.
Hall wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hall throws a nice looking combination but Gonzales bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Hall counters with a series of strikes. Gonzales will be more careful next time no doubt.
Hall connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Gonzales! He's out on his feet! Hall rushes in and drops Gonzales with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
