Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ulf Lundell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kip Flenderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lundell comes to the cage accompanied by Lundell. Kip Flenderson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ulf Lundell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kip Flenderson! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lundell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Flenderson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Lundell misses with a head kick.
Lundell moves out of range as Flenderson throws a body kick.
Lundell takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lundell takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Lundell takes a jab right on the kisser.
Flenderson throws a looping overhand right but Lundell ducks down to avoid it. Flenderson throws a sloppy head kick so Lundell counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Flenderson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lundell throwing strikes but missing. Lundell passes easily into side control. Nice work. Lundell wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Flenderson, who protects the arm well. Flenderson struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lundell tries to score with some ground and pound. Flenderson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Lundell is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Flenderson has escaped the position, nice work there. Flenderson stops Lundell from passing to mount. Lundell in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lundell trying to control the action but Flenderson is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Flenderson can do anything to dispel that myth. Flenderson is trying to control Lundell's posture but Lundell avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lundell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Flenderson keeps working. Lundell working the head and body with strikes. Lundell is trying to get an arm triangle but Flenderson is defending well. Lundell landing a few strikes. Flenderson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lundell tries to advance to mount but can't. Lundell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lundell is looking to take a break and control but Flenderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lundell advances to mount. Lundell misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Lundell cracks Flenderson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Flenderson wants to get back to his feet.
Flenderson is in all sorts of trouble here.
Poor strikes thrown by Lundell there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Flenderson is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lundell wants to control the pace but Flenderson is squirming around nicely. Lundell landing strikes from the mount. Flenderson is working to get back to half guard.
Lundell raining down shots from the mount! Lundell with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Flenderson is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lundell can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Flenderson is looking to escape. Lundell is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Flenderson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Flenderson shrugs it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ulf Lundell dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lundell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Lundell takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Lundell misses with a head kick.

Flenderson misses with an uppercut. Lundell saw that one coming. Flenderson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Lundell buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Flenderson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Flenderson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lundell sees it coming and avoids it easily. Flenderson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Lundell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Flenderson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Kip Flenderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Flenderson throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flenderson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Flenderson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Flenderson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Lundell dodges the punch combination from Flenderson.

and Lundell counters with a nice double leg into guard. Lundell throws a big right hand that misses. Lundell trying to control but Flenderson is working from the bottom. Flenderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lundell is one step ahead there. Lundell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lundell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lundell thows a big elbow that misses. Flenderson looking to control.
Lundell content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Lundell is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Flenderson misses with a looping left. Flenderson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Lundell slips under a jab from Flenderson. Lundell throws a head kick that misses and Lundell takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Flenderson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Flenderson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Lundell shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Flenderson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Flenderson controls Lundell momentarily but Lundell frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flenderson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lundell kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Lundell wants to control from the top but Flenderson keeps moving. Lundell thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Flenderson keeping moving, preventing Lundell from controlling successfully. Flenderson looking for a sweep. Not yet Flenderson, not yet. Flenderson keeping full guard, as Lundell tries to pass.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Flenderson slaps away a takedown attempt from Lundell, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Flenderson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Kip Flenderson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A punch combination from Flenderson misses. Flenderson tries to clinch but Lundell moves away and Lundell counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Flenderson is in trouble now - Lundell has advanced to mount! Flenderson is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lundell with a couple of short strikes. Flenderson is looking to get to half guard. Lundell working for a submission but Flenderson is keeping him at bay. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Flenderson is looking to improve his position but Lundell isn't that keen on the idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ulf Lundell will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Lundell throws a lazy body kick and Flenderson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Flenderson, right into the meat.
Lundell misses with a body kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Flenderson.
Flenderson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lundell. Flenderson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Flenderson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lundell throws a sloppy head kick and Flenderson moves out of range easily. Flenderson scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Flenderson lands an overhand right. Flenderson thows a body shot but no joy. Lundell throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flenderson slaps away a takedown attempt from Lundell, before circling back to the center of the mat. Lundell ducks under a wild hook from Flenderson. Lundell drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Flenderson digs a good hook to Lundell's body.
Lundell on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Flenderson. Flenderson obviously looking to wear him down.
Crunch! Flenderson slams his shin into Lundell's torso. Lundell needs to keep his hands up - Flenderson had a free shot at his head there. Lundell on the wrong end of a nice hook. Flenderson wants to clinch up but Lundell keeps it at a distance. Lundell dodges the punch combination from Flenderson.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Flenderson lands a big head kick that sends Lundell tumbling to the mat! Flenderson takes a step backwards and waves Lundell back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Lundell is rocked! Flenderson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A slapping leg kick lands for Flenderson.
Flenderson lands with a kick to the temple. Lundell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Oh Lundell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Flenderson misses with an uppercut. Lundell saw that one coming. Lundell seems to have got his legs back now. Lundell throws a head kick that misses and Flenderson counters with a head kick that drops Lundell to the mat! Lundell scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Flenderson circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Lundell to the canvas! Lundell doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Flenderson keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
