The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mules thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mules misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Loman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mules.
Loman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mules.
A looping hook to the body misses from Loman. Mules does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mules misses with the combination.
Mules gets caught flat footed, as Loman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mules looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Mules wants to stand and escape but Loman is having none of it.
Loman slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Loman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Loman is working to tighten is grip on Mules's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mules has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Loman is really squeezing tight and eventually Mules passes out! Loman breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
