Escobar comes into the arena with Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N' Roses blaring out of the sound system. Hector Escobar has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Escobar scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Escobar wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well.

Escobar swings around for an armbar but Jones sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Escobar's guard.

Jones drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Escobar manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jones has Escobar in his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Escobar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
