Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wagner Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mayron Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nascimento comes to the cage accompanied by I N F E R N O. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha throws a hook to the side of Nascimento's head but Nascimento sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nascimento throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nascimento fails to land with a series of punches.
Nascimento lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Nascimento looks to land a combination but Rocha avoids it well.
Rocha showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nascimento.

Nascimento will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Nascimento counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nascimento thuds his right hand into Rocha's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Rocha misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Rocha as Nascimento shoots in.

Nascimento lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Rocha is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Nascimento misses the shot to the body.
Nascimento lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rocha backs up against the cage.
Nascimento shoots for a double leg takedown but Rocha sprawls well. He's pushed Nascimento's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rocha misses with a combination
and Nascimento counters with a series of strikes. Rocha will be more careful next time no doubt.

so Rocha counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Nascimento is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Nascimento working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rocha doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rocha manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nascimento is breathing heavily.
Nascimento escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rocha gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Nascimento has his foot on Rocha's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rocha works his way back into a safe position though.
Rocha must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Rocha is sitting in close to Nascimento's body. Nascimento has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Rocha is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Rocha is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Nascimento.
