Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Gabel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, William Head!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gabel connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Gabel lands a big head kick that sends Head tumbling to the mat! Gabel takes a step backwards and waves Head back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like William Head has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Head throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gabel's waist but Gabel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Head off to one side.
Gabel misses with a body kick.
Gabel throws an overhand right that drops Head like a sack of potatoes! Gabel dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Gabel!
