Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matae throws a series of punches but Snuka moves out of range.
Snuka circles away from the clinch attempt.
Snuka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Matae scores with the left hand. Snuka knows he should have avoided that one.
Matae blocks a jab.
Snuka throws an overhand right that lands on Matae's shoulder, as Matae tries to avoid the shot.
Snuka throws a hook to the side of Matae's head but Matae sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Matae moves in looking to clinch but Snuka pushes him off.
Snuka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Snuka misses with a head kick.
Matae misses with a head kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Snuka. Matae does a little dance to reset his feet.
Matae throws a head kick but Snuka moves out of range.
Snuka misses the jab.
Matae scores with a head kick.
Snuka works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Yokida Matae has been cut.
Snuka takes one to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Snuka throws a sloppy head kick
and Matae counters with a head kick that drops Snuka to the mat! Snuka scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Snuka is rocked!
Matae uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Snuka.
Snuka misses with a wild body shot.
Snuka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Matae moves away.
Snuka scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Snuka throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Matae throws a quick inside leg kick.
Snuka looks gassed!
Matae closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Snuka! Matae dives in looking to finish! Snuka is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yokida Matae!
