The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
garcia takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
garcia thows a body shot but no joy.
garcia darts in and clinches SWAGGER up against the cage.
SWAGGER drops to a knee looking for a takedown but garcia gets the underhooks and prevents it.
garcia wants to get back to striking at distance but SWAGGER won't allow it.
garcia throws an elbow that misses.
SWAGGER tries to land knees in the clinch but garcia avoids the damage to the body.

garcia swings away with an uppercut that misses.
SWAGGER stops a takedown attempt from garcia.
SWAGGER throws a knee to the head but misses.
SWAGGER breaks the clinch.

It looks like robert garcia has been cut.

SWAGGER is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst garcia is controlling him.

garcia avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
SWAGGER looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
SWAGGER is breathing heavily.

garcia is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
SWAGGER is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
SWAGGER is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst garcia is controlling him.
garcia not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Let's hope that garcia has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

and garcia counters with a shoot takedown. SWAGGER fights it but they end up in guard.
SWAGGER is wriggling around but garcia manages to pass to half guard.
Well, if garcia is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
