Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kai Roe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cain connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Roe's hands.

A nice leg kick lands there from Cain.
Cain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Roe circles away quickly and effectively.

Cain is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Roe's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Roe's back!

Cain has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Roe has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Kai Roe will probably get the nod.

Cain bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Roe's guard.

Roe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Cain is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Roe to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Roe shrugs it off.

Cain has hold of Roe's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Roe manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Cain avoids the attempt from Roe to control.
Roe sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Roe makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Roe.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kai Roe.
I think Roe has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Kai Roe retains his title. It's always disappointing when a championship fight ends as a draw but that's what happens when you leave the fight in the judges hands!
