Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Memin Pinguin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Memin Pinguin!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans is looking to clinch but Pinguin is avoiding it.

Pinguin shoots in for a double leg but Evans sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Evans rushes Pinguin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Evans lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Pinguin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Evans feints and as Pinguin raises his hands in defense, Evans changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Evans is looking to work some ground and pound but Pinguin has wrist control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Evans gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Evans throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pinguin on the side of the head.
Evans stuns Pinguin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
