Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bunny Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Ginks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anstey comes to the cage accompanied by Copperhead Road. Bunny Anstey could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Buck Ginks's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bunny Anstey! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buck Ginks! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ginks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Anstey is trying to drag Ginks to the mat but Ginks just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Anstey is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ginks pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ginks manages to break the clinch.
Anstey shoots in but Ginks avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bunny Anstey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ginks looks to land a left hand but Anstey moved out of range nicely. Anstey defending well as Ginks loads up on a big left hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ginks moves out of range as Anstey strikes. Ginks is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ginks defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Anstey.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anstey tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ginks swivels and escapes. Ginks tries to bum rush Anstey with a series of wild strikes but Anstey uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Anstey fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ginks has managed to clinch.
Anstey can't get the takedown.
Anstey drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ginks gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ginks is trying to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ginks wants to break free but Anstey has control.
Ginks is trying to break the clinch but Anstey has him pressed against the cage. Ginks breaks from the clinch.
Anstey fails with a takedown attempt. Ginks looks to land a combination but Anstey avoids it well. Anstey misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Anstey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ginks tries to avoid it but Anstey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ginks to the ground. Ginks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anstey has a takedown stuffed. Anstey closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Anstey tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Ginks wants to get back to his feet. Anstey cracks Ginks with a big elbow. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ginks can do anything to dispel that myth. Ginks is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Ginks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anstey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ginks takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
It looks like Buck Ginks has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ginks wants to get back to his feet but Anstey drags him back down. Anstey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ginks gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anstey is in the full mount, landing strikes. Ginks is trying to stand. Ginks has left one of his arms exposed and Anstey doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ginks screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
