The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swift avoids a kick to the body.
Minor takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Swift comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Minor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Swift has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Minor off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Minor lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Swift has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Swift and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Minor is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Swift's half guard.
