The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escalante displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jaa.
Jaa shoots in and drives through. Escalante sprawls well.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Escalante has cracked Jaa with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Escalante lands another huge swinging hook and Jaa tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Jaa, before Escalante can land any more shots!
