Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Xent Douanue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenjamin Kage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xent Douanue looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xent Douanue! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenjamin Kage! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kage tries to clinch up. Douanue dives in and grabs Kage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kage pushes down on Douanue's head and hops out. Douanue moves into the clinch. Kage ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kage no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kage avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kage will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Kage looking for a sweep. Not yet Kage, not yet. Kage is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Douanue wants to pass the guard but Kage is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Douanue preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Douanue thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Douanue looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kage shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Douanue napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kage controls the position. Kage looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Douanue trying to remain calm as Kage controls from the top position. Douanue is looking to regain half guard here but Kage keeps moving and retains side control. Douanue is breathing heavily. Douanue is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kage's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kage wants to lay and pray for a moment but Douanue keeps working. Douanue is looking to improve his position.
Kage throwing shots but Douanue is blocking nicely. Douanue flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Kage tries to pass the half guard into mount. Douanue knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kage wants to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kage shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Douanue is trying to defend but Kage finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kage is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kage is looking to pass Douanue's guard but actually Douanue recovers to full guard. Douanue throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Douanue really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Douanue is looking for a triangle but Kage pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenjamin Kage dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kage shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Douanue's guard. Kage is stalling in the full guard. Kage connects with a couple of short punches. Kage sitting in guard here, content to control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kage is working Douanue over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Douanue is looking for a triangle but Kage pushes his legs off easily.
Kage showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Kage decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Douanue, up you get! Kage wants to clinch and Douanue counters with a one-two to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Douanue avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kage throws a body kick the misses and Douanue counters with a head kick. Douanue gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kage to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kage sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kage gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Kage looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Douanue is trying to stand up here but Kage is controlling him well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Douanue won't allow Kage to pass to mount. Kage controlling the action here. Kage stands up out of the half guard. Kage tries to close the distance and clinch up but Douanue swats him away and circles back towards the center. Douanue fails with the takedown and Kage counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenjamin Kage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Kage changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Douanue tries to avoid it but Kage manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Douanue to the ground. Douanue escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Douanue ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Douanue rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kage moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kage listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Douanue with a lazy takedown attempt and Kage counters with a single leg into guard. Douanue didn't expect that. Kage is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Douanue escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kage drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kage seems to have locked his on tight now - Douanue screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kage, as he picks up the win!
