The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corona slips a straight right by Thompson.
Thompson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Corona shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thompson as he avoids it easily.
Thompson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Thompson has closed the distance and engaged Corona in a clinch.
Thompson manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Thompson manages to pull guard.
Corona prevents Thompson from getting back to his feet.
Thompson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

and Thompson counters with a head kick. That will keep Corona thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Thompson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Corona's guard.
Corona has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thompson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well Thompson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
