Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between BJ Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Grime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). BJ Alves looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves throws a nice looking combination but Grime bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Grime is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Alves.
Grime clinches up with Alves and pushes him back against the cage.
Grime keeps control of Alves as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Grime gets control of Alves's arms and successfully pulls guard. Grime will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Alves wants to get up but he can't break Grime's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alves trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Alves wants to stand and escape but instead Grime has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
