Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Complete MMA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chase comes to the cage accompanied by All the Above - Maino. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Chase! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Complete MMA! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chase gets in close and instigates a clinch. Chase leaning his opponent against the cage. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Chase for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Chase scores with a nice hook to the head. Chase stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Chase is pushing MMA up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Chase being controlled against the cage. Chase lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of MMA backwards. Both guys are working to get underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MMA is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Chase gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Chase content to slow the pace in the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Chase lands a body shot in the clinch.
Chase presses MMA against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Chase is pushing MMA up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
That's one minute gone in the round. MMA changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Chase fights it off and pushes away nicely.
MMA swats away the attempt to clinch by Chase. MMA throws a lazy right hand but Chase sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A nice combination there by Chase.
Chase throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chase is looking to clinch. Chase moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Chase wants to clinch. MMA avoids the body shot from Chase.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MMA misses with an uppercut. Chase saw that one coming. MMA drops his hands momentarily and Chase takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. MMA throws a jab but it's blocked by Chase. MMA swats away the attempt to clinch by Chase. Chase tries to close the distance and clinch up but MMA swats him away and circles back towards the center. Chase misses with an uppercut. MMA saw that one coming. Chase really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. MMA slips a jab and a cross from Chase.
MMA has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. MMA misses with a straight left. Chase looks to land a left hand but MMA moved out of range nicely. John Chase is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chase getting the better of the striking in that exchange. The fight moves into the clinch position. MMA stalling in the clinch but Chase improves position. Chase's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Chase scores with a hook to the body. Chase throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chase takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by John Chase. MMA thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chase slips under a jab from MMA. Chase is looking to clinch. Chase is looking to clinch. Chase tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. MMA throws a hook but Chase blocks it. A cross from Chase lands. MMA scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Chase clinches up with MMA and pushes him back against the cage. MMA being controlled against the cage. Chase scores with a hook to the body. Chase will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning MMA up against the cage. Chase lands a nice shot to the body. And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
John Chase dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Chase thows a body shot but no joy. Chase keeps MMA at a distance using the push kick. Chase is looking to clinch. Chase smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. MMA fails with the takedown. The fighters circling - Chase throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Chase stuffs the takedown attempt from MMA. MMA gets slowly back to his feet. Chase wants to clinch up but MMA keeps it at a distance. Chase scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Chase is looking to clinch. MMA is breathing heavily. Chase swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by MMA.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chase wants to clinch. MMA swats away the attempt to clinch by Chase. A right-left combo lands from Chase. Chase moves out of range of the strikes. The fight moves into the clinch position. Come on Chase - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Chase successfully pulls guard.
Chase manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. MMA manages to get himself to full guard.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Chase here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Chase looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MMA keeping moving, preventing Chase from controlling successfully. Chase lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Chase trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chase trying to control the position from guard on top but MMA is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chase thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Chase tries to clinch there but MMA circles away.
MMA shoots for a double leg takedown but Chase sprawls well. He's pushed MMA's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. John Chase has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Complete MMA. MMA avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chase tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but MMA paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MMA jabbing away but nothing is landing. Chase drives through and clinches with MMA against the cage.
Chase breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. MMA walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Chase dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Chase connects with a nice looking jab.
Chase wants to clinch up but MMA keeps it at a distance. Chase lands a nice looking body shot.
Chase fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches MMA on the side of the head. MMA takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Chase lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Chase scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's four minutes gone in the round. MMA drops his hands momentarily and Chase takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Chase fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chase lands with a nice combination. MMA backs away looking to recover. Chase closes the distance and clinches. Chase slowing the pace effectively. Chase scores with a hook to the body. Chase lands a body shot in the clinch.
Chase lands with a short shot to the head. The referee calls for Chase to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Good body shot from Chase.
Chase manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. MMA is sitting in close to Chase's body. Chase has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! MMA is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, MMA is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Chase.
