Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luciano is looking to clinch but Brushnikov is avoiding it.
Brushnikov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Brushnikov wants to control from the top but Luciano keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Luciano wants to stand and escape but Brushnikov is having none of it. Brushnikov trying to control but Luciano is working from the bottom. Brushnikov forces his way into half guard. Brushnikov is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Brushnikov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Luciano tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Brushnikov manages to move to mount!
Luciano tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brushnikov working the ground and pound effectively.
Luciano is breathing heavily. Brushnikov wants to finish this one by submission but Luciano is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Brushnikov. Brushnikov raining down shots from the mount! Brushnikov looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Luciano is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Brushnikov has taken his back.
You can see the frustration on Luciano's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Brushnikov tries to get the hooks in deep but Luciano pushed the leg off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brushnikov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Brushnikov has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Luciano! Can he survive? No! He's out! Brushnikov gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
