Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dirt McGirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGirk comes into the arena with This Is Who I Am blaring out of the sound system. Dirt McGirk has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

McGirk throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Powers shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Powers changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McGirk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Powers throws a strike but McGirk rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Powers can do anything to dispel that myth.
McGirk wants to stand but Powers is controlling his posture from full guard.
McGirk trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
McGirk stops Powers from standing up.

Max Powers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Powers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
