Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Marcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Miletich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jon Marcus has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jon Marcus seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Marcus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pat Miletich! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miletich shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Marcus is trying to defend but Miletich finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Miletich sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Marcus defending well though. Miletich is trying to work for a kimura but Marcus is defending well.
Marcus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Marcus tries to get out of the position. Miletich is looking to take a break and control but Marcus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Miletich not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miletich decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Miletich gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Marcus is breathing heavily. Miletich is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Miletich avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Miletich wants to stand but Marcus is controlling the position. Miletich is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miletich is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miletich trying to control from Marcus's half guard. Marcus has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miletich trying to control the position from guard on top but Marcus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Miletich slips nicely into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miletich stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Miletich has taken the fight to the clinch.
Miletich will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Marcus up against the cage. Marcus tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Miletich just stands there and leans against the cage. Miletich pressing his opponent against the cage. Miletich changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Marcus fights it off and pushes away nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pat Miletich dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Miletich shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Miletich showed some decent athleticism there. Miletich seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Marcus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Marcus avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Miletich. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Miletich controlling the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miletich wants to work for an arm triangle but Marcus is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Miletich passes to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miletich controlling the position from side mount. Miletich stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miletich misses with a takedown attempt - Marcus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nice takedown defense from Marcus. No joy for Miletich on that attempt. Marcus stalks Miletich and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Miletich's face. Miletich staggers backwards, shaken. Marcus slaps away a takedown attempt from Miletich, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jon Marcus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pat Miletich. Miletich shoots in but no luck this time. Nice shot by Marcus. Miletich looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Miletich not doing much here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miletich is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Miletich not landing any meaningful shots this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pat Miletich showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Miletich fails to land with a series of punches.
Miletich shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Marcus throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Miletich moves into the clinch. Miletich jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marcus walks away with a smile on his face. Miletich gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Miletich shoots in for a takedown but Marcus shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jon Marcus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pat Miletich. Miletich drives through with a takedown into guard. Miletich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marcus swivels though and keeps the full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miletich is pushing down on Marcus's leg trying to pass to half guard. Marcus is fighting to maintain full guard but Miletich has managed to sneak the leg through. Marcus is not content to let Miletich control the position. Miletich is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Miletich throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Miletich is controlling the pace.
Miletich wants to control but Marcus is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marcus scores with a few weak punches. Miletich sitting and controlling from the half guard. Marcus is not content to let Miletich control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Miletich not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Miletich moves into the clinch. Miletich tries to break free but Marcus pushes him back against the cage. Marcus lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Jon Marcus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pat Miletich is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Marcus swings wildly with an uppercut but Miletich uses good head movement to avoid it. Marcus throws a head punch that misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Pat Miletich comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Miletich winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
