Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Gerbolaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Gerbolaev! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gerbolaev closes the distance and clinches up with Parker, looking for a takedown. Gerbolaev pushes Parker against the cage but Parker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Parker tries to close the distance and clinch but Gerbolaev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Parker moves into the clinch successfully.
Parker misses with a knee strike.
Parker throws a knee to the head but misses.
Gerbolaev should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Gerbolaev gets control of Parker's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gerbolaev will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gerbolaev is on top in guard.
Gerbolaev stops Parker from standing up. Parker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gerbolaev scoring with some ground and pound. Gerbolaev postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Gerbolaev wants to control from the top but Parker keeps moving. Gerbolaev got a little sloppy there for a moment and Parker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gerbolaev has managed to get both his arms back between Parker's legs - danger averted. Parker wants to stand but Gerbolaev is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gerbolaev is working Parker over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Gerbolaev trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gerbolaev is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Gerbolaev loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Parker is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Parker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gerbolaev defends it easily. Gerbolaev works over Parker with some ground and pound from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gerbolaev working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Gerbolaev trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Parker working for a triangle but Gerbolaev defends it easily.
Parker is breathing heavily. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gerbolaev stays in close to Parker's body and controls the position. Gerbolaev working some strikes from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gerbolaev wants to control from the top but Parker keeps moving. Parker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gerbolaev is looking to work some ground and pound but Parker has wrist control. Gerbolaev throws and elbow that misses. Parker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gerbolaev's guard. Nice move by Parker! Gerbolaev tries to strike from the bottom.
Parker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Gerbolaev looking for a triangle here. Parker is fighting it but it looks tight! Gerbolaev pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Parker is tapping out - this one is all over!
