Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niall William Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amanda Munroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Amanda Munroe was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn throws a hook but Munroe avoids it easily.
Quinn takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Quinn tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Munroe misses with a two punch combination.
Quinn throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Munroe counters with a series of strikes. Quinn will be more careful next time no doubt.
Munroe swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Quinn counters with a straight right hand.
Quinn misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Munroe counter with a right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Quinn misses with a double jab
and Munroe counters with a three punch combo that has Quinn backing up. Quinn nods at Munroe to acknowledge the strikes.
Quinn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Quinn, as that shot connected.
It looks like Amanda Munroe has been cut.

Quinn just misses with a punch to the body.
Quinn throws a sloppy body shot
and Munroe makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Quinn has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Quinn lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Munroe misses with a double jab
and Quinn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Munroe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Quinn.
Munroe uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Quinn.
Quinn tries to bum rush Munroe with a series of wild strikes but Munroe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Quinn has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Quinn there as he acknowledges the shot.
Quinn is looking to wear down Munroe with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

and Quinn counters with a left to the body.
Munroe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Munroe throws the left hand but Quinn avoids the punch easily.
Munroe throws a right and a left that both miss.
A telegraphed right hand from Quinn misses the target.

Quinn dodges the punch combination from Munroe.
Munroe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Quinn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Munroe throws a series of punches but Quinn moves out of range.

and Munroe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Munroe counters with a left and a right that stings Quinn.

and Quinn counters with a one-two to the body.
Munroe is breathing heavily.
Quinn slips a jab and a cross from Munroe.
Munroe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Munroe misses with a leg kick.
Quinn misses with a body shot
and Munroe counters with a nice double leg into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Quinn is looking to stand up but Munroe isn't so interested in that idea.
Quinn tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Munroe pushes down on Quinn's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Munroe is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Munroe is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Quinn is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
