PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William McGrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skylor Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGrady's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Scotland The Brave. Smith has chosen God's gonna cut you down as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Skylor Smith!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McGrady.
McGrady avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McGrady's waist but McGrady gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGrady seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Smith for as long as he can get away with.

I would just about give that final round to Skylor Smith.
