Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matsufubu Rofuru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percy Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rofuru comes to the cage accompanied by Tetsuya Komuro - Speed 2. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matsufubu Rofuru!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Percy Prime!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rofuru throws a shot from downtown. Prime moves away and avoids it.
Rofuru throws a right and a left that both miss.
Prime shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rofuru lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Rofuru jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rofuru lands with a cross.
Rofuru checks a low kick from Prime.
Matsufubu Rofuru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rofuru shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Prime pinned against the cage. Prime gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Prime defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rofuru.

Prime thuds his shin into the meat of Rofuru's side.
Prime throws a half hearted mid kick.
Rofuru takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Prime avoids the body shot from Rofuru.

Rofuru shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rofuru showed some decent athleticism there.
Rofuru is thwarting Prime's attempts to control the position.
Prime works his way to full guard. Good work.
Rofuru seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rofuru throws a strike but Prime rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prime won't allow Rofuru to sweep him here.
Prime trying to control the position from guard on top but Rofuru is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Prime pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rofuru is keeping the position for now.
Prime trying to control but Rofuru is working from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Rofuru misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Prime.
Rofuru misses the shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rofuru. Prime does a little dance to reset his feet.
Prime delivers a nice body kick.
Rofuru shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matsufubu Rofuru. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A good leg kick by Prime.

Prime drives through and clinches with Rofuru against the cage.

Rofuru manages to break the clinch.

Prime waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rofuru.
Prime misses with a body shot.
Prime fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rofuru checks it well.
Prime avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Prime throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rofuru throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Prime.
Prime slips a jab and a cross from Rofuru.
Rofuru misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Prime counters with a leg kick.
Prime throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Prime goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Percy Prime will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Rofuru keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Prime.
Prime throws a wild body kick that Rofuru sees coming a mile off.
Rofuru jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Rofuru shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Rofuru jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Prime is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Prime and Rofuru has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The strikes coming from Rofuru are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Rofuru throwing shots but missing, from side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rofuru throws a strike aimed at the side of Prime's head but Prime avoids it well.
Prime is not content to let Rofuru control the position.
Rofuru misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Prime is trying to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Rofuru throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Prime counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rofuru blocks a leg kick.

Rofuru closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Prime tries to improve position but can't.
Rofuru working away.
Prime really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rofuru. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Prime takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Prime takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Prime takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Prime looking for a sweep but Rofuru has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Rofuru looking to finish with strikes here!

Prime tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Rofuru thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Rofuru tries to control but Prime wriggling away.
Rofuru throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Prime because Rofuru loaded up on that one.
Rofuru throws some wild stikes that Prime manages to avoid easily.
Rofuru working the ground and pound effectively.
Prime is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Rofuru landing shots from mount.
The referee warns Prime that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Prime sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Prime is staying active underneath Rofuru, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Rofuru is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Rofuru is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Prime has managed to free his arm - good work.
Prime makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Prime.
Prime looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rofuru is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matsufubu Rofuru dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Rofuru tries to clinch but Prime is having none of it.
Prime tries to land a front kick but Rofuru steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rofuru bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Prime's head backwards.
Rofuru thows a leg kick but Prime checks it
and Prime counters with a low kick, right behind Rofuru 's knee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prime walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rofuru checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Rofuru shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Prime is trying to defend but Rofuru finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Prime tries to roll over but Rofuru keeps him under control.

Rofuru working over Prime with some ground and pound. Prime looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Prime is looking to get back to full guard here but Rofuru has managed to pass to side control instead.
Rofuru has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Prime's face.

Rofuru has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Prime tries to reverse the position but Rofuru maintains control.
Rofuru takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Rofuru punching from mount but Prime doing a good job of avoiding damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Prime can do anything to dispel that myth.
