Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David comes into the arena with Craig David - Rise and Fall blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig David! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim Dean! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! David shoots in and drives through. Dean sprawls well. Dean with a lazy takedown attempt and David counters with a shoot takedown. Dean fights it but they end up in guard. Dean tries to strike from the bottom.
David in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Dean controls David momentarily but David frees himself. David preventing the sweep. David has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. David lands a couple of digs. David chips away with some ground and pound. Dean is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dean is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. David trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dean is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dean preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. David landing with the ground and pound. David stands up over Dean, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. David prevents Dean from getting back to his feet. Dean trying to control the position.
David lands a couple of elbows. David stands up from Dean's guard - David perhaps looking for a knockout. David misses with a takedown attempt and Dean counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dean looks gassed! Dean is stalling in the full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! David is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dean defends well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dean trying to control but David is working from the bottom. Dean has gone for a leg lock! David slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dean's guard.

Dean is trying to defend against the ground and pound but David scores with a couple of nice shots. Dean wants to control but David is keeping busy and won't allow it. David is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

David throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. David connects with a nice short shot to Dean's temple. David trying to control the action but Dean is working from the bottom. David drops an elbow to the side of Dean's head. Dean is staying active underneath David, who seems content to just control the action from this position. David thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dean's head. Dean is trying to control but can't.
David working Dean over with strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. David maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dean could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but David has cracked it and Dean is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by David!
