Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between JIM Hatter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatter's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rastamon Vibration. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JIM Hatter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luiz Soto!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatter sizes up Soto with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Soto fails with a takedown attempt.
Hatter getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Hatter lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Soto misses with a takedown attempt - Hatter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hatter with a nice cross.
Hatter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Soto. Soto circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Soto blocks a jab.
A left and a right from Hatter both land. Nice combination.


Soto is rocked!
Hatter cracks Soto with an open hand slap.
Soto is still on wobbly legs! Can Hatter finish him?
Hatter ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Soto shoots for a double leg takedown but Hatter sprawls well. He's pushed Soto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Soto seems to have recovered his senses.
JIM Hatter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luiz Soto.

Soto decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Soto thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hatter's head.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hatter lands a two punch combo.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Soto drops his hands momentarily and Hatter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Soto shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hatter defends it nicely.
Soto dives in and grabs Hatter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hatter pushes down on Soto's head and hops out.
Hatter lands a slapping body shot.
JIM Hatter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hatter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hatter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Soto circles away quickly and effectively.
Hatter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hatter is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Hatter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Soto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Soto fails to land the takedown.
Soto has a takedown stuffed.
Soto looks gassed!

Soto closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Hatter works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hatter pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hatter, as that shot connected.
Soto tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Nice uppercut lands for Hatter. That snapped Soto's head back.
No joy there for Hatter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hatter scores with a decent looking hook.
Hatter looks to land a combination but Soto avoids it well.
A combination from Hatter does no damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hatter lands an overhand right.

Hatter gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Soto to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Hatter wants to stand up but Soto is controlling him.
Hatter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Soto on the ground.

Soto drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hatter dives on top into guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Soto is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hatter is aware though and is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Soto is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

JIM Hatter dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Soto tries for a takedown but Hatter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hatter looks to land a body kick but Soto moved away.
Hatter throws a quick inside leg kick.
Soto takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Hatter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Soto doesn't seem bothered though.
The crowd cheers as Hatter lands an impressive looking overhand right. Soto doesn't seem phased though.

Soto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hatter's waist but Hatter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Soto off to one side.

Hatter dips to his left and cracks Soto with an uppercut!

Hatter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Soto.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Horrible takedown by Soto or perhaps it was just good defense by Hatter which made him look bad.
Hatter jabs Soto right on the nose. Soto blinks but takes it well.

Hatter lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Soto backs up against the ropes.
Soto dives in and grabs Hatter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hatter pushes down on Soto's head and hops out.
Hatter turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

JIM Hatter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
No joy there for Hatter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Soto swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hatter counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Hatter is looking to stand up but Soto isn't so interested in that idea.

Soto trying to control the position from guard on top but Hatter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hatter wants to stand up but Soto is controlling him.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Soto cracks Hatter with a solid left hand.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Soto will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

JIM Hatter dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Soto throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hatter lands a nice shot that snaps Soto's head back.
Soto doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hatter counters with a straight right hand.
Hatter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Soto.
Hatter throws a series of punches but Soto avoids them all with ease.
Hatter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Soto has his takedown stuffed
and Hatter counters with a one-two to the body.
Hatter lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hatter wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hatter looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Hatter stalks Soto and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Soto's face. Soto staggers backwards, shaken.
Hatter lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

and Hatter counters with a one-two to the body.

Hatter drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Soto right on the button. Soto goes down! Hatter follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Hatter gets the win via TKO!
