Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Igor Borinski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Jensen! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borinski gets caught flat footed, as Jensen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Borinski looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jensen sitting in guard here, content to control. Jensen won't allow Borinski to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Borinski looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jensen trying to control the position from guard on top but Borinski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jensen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Borinski closes the distance and clinches. Borinski wants a takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jensen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Borinski drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jensen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Borinski can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Borinski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jensen prevents a takedown attempt there.
Jensen decides to pull guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jensen pulls Borinski in close to prevent any damage. Borinski makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Igor Borinski will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Igor Borinski's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Jensen is fighting the takedown attempt but Borinski gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Borinski looking to sit in guard and control but Jensen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jensen trying to control but Borinski is working from the bottom. Borinski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jensen wants to control from the top but Borinski keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Igor Borinski showed his dominance in that final round. I think Borinski has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
