Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fat Craig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Ljonja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ljonja has eaten all the pies!
Craig shoots in looking for a takedown. Ljonja tries to sprawl out of it but Craig keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ljonja manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Craig had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ljonja is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Craig Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ljonja's back instead.
Ljonja looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ljonja is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Craig gets his way!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fat Craig.
Well Craig has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
