Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Ramsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramsey has chosen Boom as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jack Ripper has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Ripper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Troy Ramsey! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramsey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Ripper is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ramsey is controlling him. Ripper working a defensive guard here.
Ripper tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ripper is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ramsey looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Ripper keeping moving, preventing Ramsey from controlling successfully. Ripper has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ramsey off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Ramsey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramsey looks for a takedown but Ripper sprawls well. Ramsey throws a head kick but Ripper moves out of range.

Ripper displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ramsey. Ramsey is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ripper's half guard. Ramsey looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ramsey is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramsey seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ripper does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ripper has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ramsey is working away from the top position though. Ramsey prevents Ripper from standing back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramsey seems to be working for a kimura but Ripper defends the submission attempt.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ripper shoots and misses and Ramsey counters with a single leg into guard. Ripper didn't expect that. Ramsey drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ripper dives on top into guard. Ripper is breathing heavily. Ripper got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ramsey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ripper has managed to get both his arms back between Ramsey's legs - danger averted. Ripper with a nice head shot there. Ripper cracks Ramsey with a solid left hand. Ripper working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ramsey avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ripper accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramsey is looking for a triangle here but Ripper uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Ramsey is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ripper connects with a decent elbow. Ramsey on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Ripper in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Ramsey is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Ripper wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ramsey keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Troy Ramsey dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ramsey closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ramsey lands in his opponent's guard. Ramsey stopping the sweep attempt from Ripper. Ramsey drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ripper manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ramsey has Ripper in his guard. Ripper trying to move into half guard but instead Ramsey has managed to sweep! Ramsey is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ripper looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ramsey is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Ramsey wanted to stand there but Ripper had control of the position. Ramsey trying to control but Ripper is working from the bottom. Troy Ramsey has got the better of the ground game so far. Ramsey is stalling in the full guard. Ramsey drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ripper manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ramsey has Ripper in his guard.

Ripper works over Ramsey with some ground and pound from guard. Ripper sitting in guard here, content to control. Ramsey is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ripper trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramsey working for a triangle but Ripper defends it easily.
Ramsey has momentary wrist control but Ripper slips an elbow through the middle. Ramsey preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ripper trying to control but Ramsey is working from the bottom. Ripper lands a couple of elbows. Ramsey is trying to keep Ripper in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ripper looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ramsey wants to get back to his feet but Ripper is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ripper is in close to Ramsey's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ripper thows a big elbow that misses.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ramsey ducks under a wild hook from Ripper. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ripper throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jack Ripper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ripper misses with the combination.
Ripper is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ramsey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Ripper will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Ramsey jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ripper wants to get back to his feet but Ramsey passes into half guard.
Ramsey stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. A head kick misses from Ramsey. A swing and a miss from Ramsey. Ramsey fails with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ramsey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ripper cracks Ramsey with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Jack Ripper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A low kick from Ripper is predictable there and Ramsey counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ripper's guard now. Ripper keeping moving, preventing Ramsey from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ripper is on top in guard.
Ripper with a flurry of punches that miss. Ramsey is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ripper is controlling him. Ripper avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramsey working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ripper. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Ramsey. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Ramsey looking for a guillotine here but Ripper defends easily.
Ripper stands and throws Ramsey's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Ripper. Ramsey is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Ripper throws a strike but Ramsey avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Ripper postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Ramsey wriggles free and stands up. Ripper moves in looking to clinch but Ramsey pushes him off. Ramsey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jack Ripper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Troy Ramsey. Ripper looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ripper throws a right hand that Ramsey ducks under and follows up with a left that Ramsey also avoids with ease. Ramsey darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ramsey keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Ramsey thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ripper's head. Ripper is trying to stand up here but Ramsey is controlling him well. Ramsey seems to be looking for submissions.

And that's the end of the fight! Troy Ramsey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ramsey has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
