Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michel Barros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitokage Hakaisha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michel Barros has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hitokage Hakaisha!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barros swings for the body but Hakaisha moves out of range.
Barros scores with a jab to the jaw.
Barros looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Barros fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hakaisha cracks a nice hook into Barros's ribs.
Barros avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hakaisha tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barros was well out of range. Poor timing from Hakaisha.
Barros lands with a shot to the body.
Hakaisha takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hakaisha fails with the takedown.
Barros swinging wildly here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hakaisha. Barros does a little dance to reset his feet.
Barros connects with a looping right hand.
Hakaisha slips a straight right by Barros.
Hakaisha shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Barros's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hakaisha is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Barros is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Barros has escaped and now he's on top!
Hakaisha is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Barros wants to control from the top but Hakaisha keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barros is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hakaisha is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Barros wants to pass the guard but Hakaisha is keeping the position.
Barros is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Barros has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hakaisha throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Barros wants to control from the top but Hakaisha keeps moving.
Hakaisha wants to sweep but no luck.
Hakaisha wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A decent looking cross lands there for Barros.
Hakaisha gets a takedown into half guard.
Barros gets full guard.
Barros manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hakaisha manages to get himself to full guard.

Hakaisha has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Barros doesn't defend quickly enough and Hakaisha has managed to lock this one up! Can Barros escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hakaisha on a fantastic submission victory.
