Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trent Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White has chosen Barry White - What Am I Gonna Do with You as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Larry White was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope is looking to clinch.
Pope tries to clinch but White is having none of it.
Pope throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
White looks gassed!
Pope connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Trent Pope seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pope fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pope dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on White. That did some damage!
Pope fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt White.
White with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pope to score with a decent uppercut.
Pope tries to clinch but White is having none of it.

Pope drops White with a beautiful combination! White stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pope is looking for the KO!

White is rocked!

It looks like Larry White has been cut.

Pope rushes White and presses him up against the cage.
White is still on wobbly legs! Can Pope finish him?
Pope dips a shoulder and cracks White with a mighty uppercut! White falls back against the cage and Pope unloads with a barrage of strikes! White is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pope screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
