Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Viceroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Chan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Viceroy! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chan tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Chan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Chan tries to clinch but Viceroy is having none of it. A looping hook to the body misses from Chan. Viceroy does a little dance to reset his feet. Viceroy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Viceroy gets a takedown into half guard. Chan trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Viceroy manages to pass to mount!
Viceroy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Chan tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Viceroy controlling from the full mount. Viceroy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Chan wants to control but Viceroy is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Viceroy controlling from the full mount. Let's hope that Viceroy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Despite being in the dominant position, The Viceroy just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Chan with a lazy takedown attempt and Viceroy counters with a nice body shot. Chan swings and misses with a shot to the body and Viceroy counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Viceroy controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Viceroy dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Viceroy stalks Chan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chan's face. Chan staggers backwards, shaken. Chan tries to clinch and Viceroy counters with a shoot takedown. Chan fights it but they end up in guard. Viceroy controlling from the top position. Viceroy stands up and waves to Chan to follow him. Viceroy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Viceroy stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Chan to get to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Viceroy ducks down and throws a hook to the body. The fighters circle momentarily. Chan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Viceroy throws a right and a left that both miss. Nice cross by Viceroy. Viceroy moves out of range of the strikes. Viceroy lands a jab to Chan's midsection. Viceroy checks a low kick from Chan. Chan misses with a combination
and Viceroy counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Viceroy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Viceroy controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Viceroy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chan's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Viceroy decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chan misses with a takedown attempt and Viceroy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Viceroy throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Chan stumbling backwards into the cage! Chan bounces back off the cage towards Viceroy, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Viceroy lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Viceroy celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). The Viceroy!
