The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepherd takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kyril wants to clinch.
Shepherd shoots in for a takedown but Kyril shows good takedown defense.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kyril pivots, looking for a leg kick but Shepherd is out of range and Kyril settles back down.

Kyril throws a right hand that Shepherd ducks under and follows up with a left that Shepherd also avoids with ease.
Viktor Kyril is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Kyril throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Shepherd on the side of the head.

Well Kyril has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
