Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nimirov tries to score with a low kick but perse moves his leg out of the way.
Lazar Nimirov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - perse looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

perse throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nimirov counters with a nice low kick that buckles perse's knee momentarily.
perse shoots in and drives through. Nimirov sprawls well.
Nimirov throws a big shot that misses.

Good leg kick by Nimirov there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
perse moves forwards but Nimirov connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Nimirov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and perse counters with a shoot takedown. Nimirov fights it but they end up in guard.

perse wants to control from the top but Nimirov keeps moving.

Nimirov is pulling down on perse's head. It's preventing any offense from perse, at least for the moment.
Nimirov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Nimirov wants to get back to his feet but perse is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Nimirov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nimirov tries to get out of the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
perse moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
perse lands with an uppercut that bounces Nimirov off the cage and back into rage.
perse wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Nimirov looks to score with a jab to the body but perse is just out of range.

Nimirov misses with a hook. perse ducked under it nicely.
perse avoids a punch combination nicely.
A slow jab from Nimirov misses its intended target.
Nimirov lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Nimirov.

perse fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
perse slips a jab and a cross from Nimirov.
perse looks to score with a jab to the body but Nimirov is just out of range.

perse takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nimirov connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent perse tumbling to the canvas! Nimirov pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! perse was done - good stoppage!
