The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pervyu throws a series of punches but Malik moves out of range.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pervyu wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pervyu has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Pervyu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Malik is just riding it out for now. Pervyu eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Malik has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pervyu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pervyu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Malik swivels though and keeps the full guard.
