The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oreck wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
A swing and a miss from Oreck.
Oreck tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Oreck somewhat.
Oreck gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Oreck tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jones lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Newton Oreck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones connects with a good right hand that stumbles Oreck. Oreck circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Crunch! Jones slams his shin into Oreck's torso.
Jones connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Oreck! He's out on his feet! Jones rushes in and drops Oreck with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
