Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, stevie seahull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Dux! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Dux.
seahull throws a leg kick that misses. Dux wants to clinch. seahull avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dux checks a leg kick nicely. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! seahull takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like stevie seahull has been cut. seahull throws a leg kick but Dux sees it coming and moves out of range. seahull swats away the attempt to clinch by Dux. Dux throws a head kick but seahull moves out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Dux. seahull circles away from the clinch attempt.
seahull throws a sloppy head kick and Dux counters with a thumping low kick. seahull is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! seahull takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Dux has managed to clinch.
Dux breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A telegraphed right hand from seahull misses the target. Dux darts in and clinches seahull up against the cage. Dux is pressed up against the cage. seahull has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dux down to the mat. Dux avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dux rushes seahull and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dux connects with a knee to the head.
Dux pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dux gets a clinch. Dux escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dux lands a big head kick that sends seahull tumbling to the mat! Dux takes a step backwards and waves seahull back to his feet - he wants the finish!
seahull is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. seahull chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dux can pounce on him.
Oh seahull is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dux clinches with his opponent.
Dux working seahull over with knees to the body. Dux creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops seahull! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Dux.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Dux!
