The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Persson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Nice takedown defense from Forest. No joy for Persson on that attempt.
Persson tries for a takedown but Forest sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Forest listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Persson drops his hands momentarily. Forest doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Persson staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Persson doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
