Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oliveira Gilbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franco Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliveira Gilbert looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes closes the distance and clinches up with Gilbert, looking for a takedown. Reyes pushes Gilbert against the cage but Gilbert circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gilbert avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Reyes takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Reyes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gilbert to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Reyes pulls Gilbert in close to prevent any damage.

Reyes is looking to clinch but Gilbert is avoiding it.

and Reyes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gilbert's guard.
Gilbert might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gilbert wants to get back to his feet but Reyes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Reyes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gilbert is wriggling around but Reyes manages to pass to half guard.

and Reyes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Reyes stands up and waves to Gilbert to follow him.

and Reyes counters with a single leg into guard. Gilbert didn't expect that.

Reyes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reyes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gilbert on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gilbert tries to get out of the position.
Reyes is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gilbert wants to get back to his feet but Reyes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Reyes lands a nice short elbow.
Reyes frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Reyes connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Reyes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
