Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Stout! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Moose! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stout keeps the fight on the outside. Stout looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Stout closes the distance looking to clinch and Moose counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Moose takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Nice strikes from Moose there. Moose missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Moose content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moose stands up out of the half guard. No luck for Moose with that takedown attempt. Sam Stout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stout tries to clinch and Moose counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Moose. Stout tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stout is looking to sweep but instead, Moose has passed into half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Marcus Moose. Moose closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Moose lands in his opponent's guard. Moose content to stall in guard here. Moose pushes down on Stout's leg and manages to get into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Moose stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moose darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stout trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are battling for position here. Stout manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Moose seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Stout wants to control but Moose passes easily into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moose is thwarting Stout's attempts to control the position. Stout is refusing to be controlled, as Moose sits in half guard. Moose not doing much here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Moose dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Stout tries to clinch up and Moose counters by clinching up. Moose can't get the takedown.
Stout tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Moose goes for a takedown in the clinch but Stout prevents it.
Moose has Stout pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stout manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Sam Stout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Moose. Moose manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Stout trying to control but Moose is working from the bottom. Moose preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stout trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stout wants to stand and escape but instead Moose has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Moose postures up.
Stout wants to control the position but Moose says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Moose is looking for a kimura here.
Stout wants to get back to full guard but Moose has mounted him!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Moose with the ground and pound from mount. Stout reaches up to try and control the position but Moose seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Stout rolls and tries to escape and now Moose has his back!
Moose has the hooks in. Stout is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Stout staying busy and making it hard for Moose to control. Moose is not going to allow Stout to sit and survive in this position. Stout can't escape the position.
Stout tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Moose with good strikes from the mount here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stout is trying to reverse the position but instead Moose has taken his back - oops! Moose working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Moose is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Stout up.
Stout trying to control the hands but Moose breaks the grip. Moose punches the canvas rather than the man. Stout knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moose on the ground. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Stout wants to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Moose lands a shot to the body. Stout looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Stout can't escape the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The referee is taking a good look at Stout as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Moose!
Stout tries to break free.

Marcus Moose showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Stout closes the distance and clinches up with Moose, looking for a takedown. Stout pushes Moose against the cage but Moose circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Moose is looking to clinch. Sam Stout is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stout tries to clinch but fails miserably and Moose counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stout won't be happy with that. Moose lands a few punches from side control. Moose in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. A lull in the action here as Moose stalls from top position. Moose is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stout is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Stout takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stout takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Stout prevents Moose from improving position. Moose tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Stout is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Moose asserts his dominance and retains side control. Stout throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Moose thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Stout is looking for a sweep.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stout tries to clinch and Moose counters by moving into the clinch. Moose tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stout smiles and moves away.
Stout tries to clinch and Moose connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Stout wants to clinch but Moose slips to the side so Moose counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Stout working a defensive guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stout can't keep his opponent in guard - Moose advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Moose wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stout keeps working. Moose controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stout has hold of Moose's hands but Moose slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Stout is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Moose working over Stout with some ground and pound. Stout looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Stout slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stout is on top in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Marcus Moose comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Moose has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
