PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between FLYING KNEE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goose Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). KNEE comes to the cage accompanied by My Knees Don't lie. Goose Walters told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walters misses with a series of wild punches.
Walters connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like FLYING KNEE has been cut.
Walters lands a jab to the nose.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

KNEE moves into the clinch.
Walters tries to circle away but KNEE has him pinned against the cage.
Knees to the body from KNEE.
A head punch on the inside from Walters fails to land.
Walters fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Walters jumps guard but KNEE stands there with Walters around his waist. Walters gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Walters tries to stall but KNEE uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Walters tried to land a shot to the body but connects with KNEE's elbow.
KNEE tries to land a knee to the head but Walters blocks with his arms.
Walters is trying to break free.
KNEE is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Walters is defending well for now.
KNEE with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
KNEE using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Walters has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
KNEE is breathing heavily.
A frustrated look appears on Walters's face as he tries to break the clinch.
KNEE lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
KNEE creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Walters's defenses.
Walters tries to pull guard but KNEE holds him up against the cage and eventually Walters drops back down to his feet.
FLYING KNEE has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Goose Walters.
KNEE misses with a knee to the head.
KNEE tries a knee to the head but Walters blocks it.

KNEE keeps control of Walters as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Walters is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Walters is trying to break the clinch but KNEE has him pressed against the cage.

Walters dodges an elbow strike from KNEE.
Walters is trying to force a seperation but KNEE has the dominant position.
Walters jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as KNEE walks away with a smile on his face. Walters gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
KNEE wants to clinch.
Walters misses with a few strikes there.
KNEE tries to clinch there but Walters circles away.

Walters lands a left and a right that send KNEE crashing to the mat, dazed. Walters thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Walters's corner calls for a 1-2. Walters obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

KNEE is rocked!

FLYING KNEE's cut is getting worse.
FLYING KNEE seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Walters lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and KNEE falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
