The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tralala Jr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gipsy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tralala Jr napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Tralala Jr gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Gipsy is thwarting Tralala Jr's attempts to control the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tralala Jr pushes Gipsy off looking to stand but Gipsy dives back in and keeps control.

Tralala Jr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gipsy is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tralala Jr is working an open guard so Gipsy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Gipsy is looking for a triangle but Tralala Jr pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gipsy looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tralala Jr puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Gipsy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tralala Jr's guard now.
