Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Damn. Shirley does a little dance to reset his feet.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Damn.
Shirley closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Damn to the mat! Damn manages to get full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ground and pound from Damn seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
You can see the frustration on Shirley's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Damn is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Damn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Shirley is looking to take a break and control but Damn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Shirley drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Damn gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Gee Damn showed his dominance in that final round.
