Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kelly McFillin!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
sick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McFillin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

sick might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

McFillin seems to be working for a kimura but sick defends the submission attempt.

McFillin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. sick doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McFillin.
McFillin is thwarting sick's attempts to control the position.

McFillin stands and throws sick's legs to the side, diving into side control.

sick turns into McFillin and is now in his guard.
McFillin looking to hit a scissor sweep but sick is one step ahead there.
sick wants to stand and escape but instead McFillin has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

McFillin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! sick is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McFillin, into his guard.
McFillin controls sick momentarily but sick frees himself.

McFillin looking for a sweep. Not yet McFillin, not yet.
sick could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
sick looking to sit in guard and control but McFillin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
McFillin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
sick wants to stand but McFillin is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McFillin throwing strikes from guard but sick blocks nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
sick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and sick wants it to stay on the feet.

and McFillin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for sick!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

McFillin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McFillin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
sick looking to pass the guard.
sick has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McFillin is proving hard to escape from.

sick has gone for a leg lock! McFillin slips out almost immediately though and dives into sick's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McFillin is looking to work some ground and pound but sick has wrist control.

McFillin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McFillin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
sick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McFillin on the ground.
McFillin tries to free his leg and advance position but sick is retaining full guard.
McFillin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
sick is trying to control the position but McFillin postures up.
McFillin wants to pass the guard but sick is keeping the position.
McFillin passes easily into side control. Nice work.

McFillin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
McFillin advances to full mount.
McFillin looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
sick is working to get back to half guard.

McFillin looking to secure an arm triangle but sick defends it well.
McFillin unloads with some shots from mount but sick bucks and avoids them well.

McFillin lands a heavy elbow.

McFillin wants to finish this one by submission but sick is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from McFillin.

McFillin has hold of sick's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and sick manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McFillin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kelly McFillin has got the better of the ground game so far.
sick tries to lock up and control but McFillin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
sick is looking to get to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kelly McFillin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
