Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Ananasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martial Serrano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martial Serrano is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gregory Ananasov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Martial Serrano! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ananasov tries for a takedown but Serrano sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Serrano shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ananasov's guard. Ananasov thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Ananasov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Serrano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Serrano wants to control from the top but Ananasov keeps moving. Ananasov is looking for a triangle but Serrano pushes his legs off easily.
Serrano trying to control but Ananasov is working from the bottom. Serrano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ananasov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Serrano has managed to get both his arms back between Ananasov's legs - danger averted. Ananasov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Serrano stacks Ananasov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Serrano! Ananasov striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ananasov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Serrano wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Ananasov is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Ananasov looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ananasov throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Ananasov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Serrano pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ananasov is breathing heavily. Serrano tries to stand and escape but Ananasov is controlling the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ananasov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Serrano counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Serrano wanted to stand there but Ananasov had control of the position. Serrano gets to his feet - Ananasov follows without any prompting. Serrano with a poor takedown and Ananasov counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ananasov looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Nice strikes from Ananasov there. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ananasov connects with a nice short shot to Serrano's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Serrano is defending against the submission attempts here by Ananasov.
Ananasov seems to be working for a kimura but Serrano defends the submission attempt. Ananasov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Serrano is trying to stand up here but Ananasov is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Serrano tries to get to full guard but Ananasov has control of the leg. Ananasov slips a nice elbow through Serrano's hands, connecting with Serrano's forehead. Ananasov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Ananasov scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Ananasov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ananasov landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Ananasov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ananasov is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Serrano wants to control but Ananasov is keeping busy.
Ananasov seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Serrano is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
