Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pelle Paniikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lasi Leuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Paniikki might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to N'sync - Bye Bye Bye. Pelle Paniikki has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leuka fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Paniikki, pushing him back against the cage.
Paniikki tries to pull guard but Leuka won't allow it.

Leuka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Paniikki circles away from the clinch attempt.
Paniikki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pelle Paniikki. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Leuka fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Paniikki thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Paniikki postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Leuka is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Paniikki, into his guard.
Leuka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Paniikki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Leuka has managed to get both his arms back between Paniikki's legs - danger averted.

Leuka trying to control the position from guard on top but Paniikki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Paniikki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Leuka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Paniikki is tightening it up a little... Leuka has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Leuka reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Leuka taps out! nice BJJ there by Paniikki!
