Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James weiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). weiss comes to the cage accompanied by Animal I have become. Fernandes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up To Boston kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Andre Fernandes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Fernandes!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
weiss tries to bum rush Fernandes with a series of wild strikes but Fernandes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fernandes shoots in for a takedown but weiss shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
weiss walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fernandes checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Fernandes takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
weiss tries to clinch but Fernandes moves out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from weiss.
Fernandes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches weiss napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fernandes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by weiss, who protects the arm well.
Fernandes is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. weiss looks calm but he's in trouble here. Fernandes gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. weiss is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Fernandes lets go of the hold and weiss can pop his arm back in it's socket.
